It's' a disappointing setback for anyone who doesn't' want big telecoms profiting off of their personal data. So what to do? Try a Virtual Private Network. It won't' fix all your privacy problems, but a VPN's' a decent start. In case you're' not familiar, a VPN is a private, controlled network that connects you to the internet at large. Your connection with your VPN's' server is encrypted, and if you browse the wider internet through this smaller, secure network, it's' difficult for anyone to eavesdrop on what you're' doing from the outside.

Perhaps if I wanted to watch content that is blocked in my geographic area which I think is a really stupid idea that should be eliminated, but based on my interests and location, this hasn't' been much of an issue. Forgive me if i sound like an idiot but im pretty new and rely on myself to learn and teach myself. Any guidance is appreciated. So if i use a VPNTOR w/DNS/Proxy serverdisable webrtc then take my given IP gather the info on it change my location to those coordinates and change my timezone to match, how safe am i? Adding multiple layers like a VPN TOR Proxy server would definitely make it harder for someone to track your activity.
